The forum was organized by Novosibirsk State University. The event will be held within the framework of Technoprom 2026 and will bring together representatives of the educational, scientific and business spheres of the two countries. One of the key topics will be the development of joint innovative and high-tech projects.
According to NSU, the forum is timed to coincide with the 15th anniversary of Russia's first Chinese-Russian institute, established jointly with Heilongjiang University. The event also includes the opening of the second Chinese-Russian Institute, approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. A new set of students will start in the 2026/27 academic year in the fields of chemistry, biology, mathematics and robotics.
In addition, the forum participants will sign an agreement on the establishment of an Association of Joint Institutes of Russian and Chinese Universities, which will include 31 educational organizations. A separate track will be devoted to the formation of a business platform for finding partners, exchanging technologies and introducing scientific developments into industry and other sectors of the economy.
