Beijing expects to use the Eastern Economic Forum to strengthen cooperation with Russia and other countries in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as to implement the agreements reached.

China intends to use the Eastern Economic Forum to expand cooperation with the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, strengthen contacts and mutual trust. According to Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun, the visit of the Chinese delegation will be an opportunity to work together with Russia to implement important agreements reached by the two heads of state. This will contribute to the development of a comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Russia in the new era.

Vice Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, Ding Xuexiang, will take part in the plenary session of the EEF, hold meetings of the mechanisms for Sino‑Russian cooperation in the fields of investment and energy, and also meet with representatives of the Russian leadership. The visit, which will take place from September 2 to 4, also includes the 13th meeting of the Russian‑Chinese Commission on Investment Cooperation, the 22nd meeting of the Russian‑Chinese Commission on Energy Cooperation, and the 8th Russian‑Chinese Energy Business Forum.

Beijing expects that participation in the forum will strengthen cooperation with all parties, increase mutual trust, and facilitate the joint use of development opportunities. China intends to contribute to the joint development of the region and the improvement of the well‑being of the peoples of the participating countries, adhering to the principles of openness and mutually beneficial cooperation.
